Darla - just 2 days before her passing.  What a treasured and loved little girl she was.  My love was 14 years old  when she lost her battle with cancer.

Fancy now resides in Pennsylvania with the Randall family as a cherished house pet.
Fancy is the dam to Willow and Serina as well as many other champions.  We are especially gratefull to her.
Willow now resides with the Quick family in Ohio as a cherished family house pet.
Serina now resides with her special family in Kent Ohio as a cherished house pet.
Darla was one of our first Jack Russells and is responsible for us falling in love with this breed.  She  was the love of my life.  Gone at 14 years...much too soon.
These little ladies are littermate sisters out of Willow's last litter.  We are so very fortunate to have them.

IN  LOVING MEMORY.....................
I never dreamed I'd have to say goodbye again so soon to another beloved terrier after losing my precious Darla.  My heart has broken once again having to say goodbye to Hope- such a loving and beautiful girl.  In sweet loving memory of my dear Hope taken much too soon.  Hope came to me after my dear little Darla passed.  She was only 1 year old and I assumed that I would have her for at least 13 or 14 years.  I needed to know that after losing Darla.  I asked God to lengthen their lives as 14 years is much too short.  Hope was the sweetest and kindest terrier I've ever known. She taught all of the puppies how to respect their elders in such a gentle but firm manner.  She had a sense of humor and liked to try and trick me.  If I laughed too long at her or made over her for too long she would actually get embarassed.  She was truely endearing.  When Hope got sick we couldn't understand why and treated her for infection.  She rallied several times but then stayed down and after countless tests she was diagnosed with renal disease of which she could not recover. She was only 3 years old when we lost her.   My dearest Hope, we will miss you so and Love you always, Mom....... August 2008

This is the neatest little dog.  She barely stands 12" tall and doesn't weigh anything.   If you span her chest she's like a noodle.  She's so eager to please me  and I'm so thrilled to be able to  add her to my "Ladies of Shingle Oak" page.

She has a wonderful pedigree (another beautiful Abel daughter) and is a full  1/2 sister to my dear little Hope (August 08).  She has  the same big dark brown eyes that make you melt.

She is affectionately known as Tizzy.  Welcome Tizzy!  We know you will be a great addition to our kennel.
